AntiMastitor: An Innovative Solution Against Mastitis

Mastitis has long been the most costly disease in dairy farming, leading to reduced milk yield, higher somatic cell counts (SCC), veterinary expenses, and premature culling. Traditional teat dipping methods disinfect the surface but leave the teat canal open for several hours, creating a high-risk infection window.

AntiMastitor introduces a new approach. By combining antiseptic dipping with low-frequency electrical stimulation, it actively contracts the teat sphincter muscles and closes the teat canal within seconds after milking. This dual mechanism both disinfects and protects the udder, significantly reducing the risk of bacterial infections.

Clinical trials and ultrasonography studies have demonstrated that AntiMastitor lowers mastitis incidence and helps maintain SCC levels below the EU legal threshold of 400,000 cells/ml. It is lightweight (215 g), battery-powered, and designed for easy daily use on farms.

With patents secured in 49 countries and recognition from international innovation awards, AntiMastitor represents a breakthrough in dairy health technology. It not only protects animal welfare but also safeguards milk quality and farm profitability.
